Out of the many clubs there were a few that stood out to me. I was interested in the Computer club. While they didn't have a booth at the club fair, I am still interested in joining based on what I have heard about it and what they do. One club, on the other hand, that I am not likely to join is the car club. My only reason for not joining would be because its just something that I have no interest in and I have very little knowledge about what they do. The club that I liked best would have to be the fencing club. I personally wouldn't join, because of my lack of experience, but its nice to see that there is a club somewhere for every one and for every hobby/sport. One of the positive benefits that I hope to gain from joining a club is the ability to meet new people who share the same interests as myself. I also hope that by being involved with clubs that it will improve my chances in the future to get a job somewhere in the world.

College Expectations
My expectations of college life are most likely the average ones of every student. I hope to learn more about the world, what I'm interested in, and also about myself during my time in college. In the past my focus was spent on learning the required materials that I needed to graduate high school, but now that many more possibilities have been opened up I want to learn more in the same amount of time in many different fields while preparing to find my place in the world as a working member of society. The challenges that come with the extra freedom are at times scary but also common among others. The main issue for me will be time management. All of the free time between classes has left me without anything to do. I hope to take up most of this extra time by getting involved with multiple clubs and groups to keep me busy during the extra time between classes and studying. Along with the extra time comes with the extra freedom to do almost anything. I know that I will be able to keep a good healthy balance between my social life and school life. That also includes my fear of getting bad grades because of a single test or assignment. The only way that I can think of to prevent this from becoming a big problem is to spend extra time devoted to learning the materials and preparing for tests. The extra stress that I know will be a part of university life will be another challenge for me to overcome for the next few years of my life. My only hope is that my past stress relieving activities will be enough while also learning new ways to handle the pressure in a healthy and safe way. Some other problems that I will need to work on is trying to avoid is peer pressure to do things that may be harmful to myself or to others around me. My plan to to just say no to anything that I know could cause problems to try and protect myself. Another one of my concerns about university life is not fitting in and feeling like an outcast. I know that there are many clubs that cover almost every interest possible and I hope that they will help me fit in with at lest a few other people. At the very least it will give me something to do in my spare time thats fun and safe. In my opinion, from what I've seen so far, many of my concerns are the same as they were every time I started a new stage of schooling. Every few years new chances and opportunities opened up to me because of what was expected of me. I think that as time goes on and I adjust to university life, many of my fears and concerns will become less and slowly just become a normal part of my life. As I look back on my first few days in high school, many of my concerns were the same as they are now. Back then I never would of thought that I would get all the work done with the grades to do good in life. I also never would of believed that I would of fit in as well as I did during the time I was there. I think that by the end of this first year of university life many of my concerns and fears will be almost nothing when compared to the challenges I will face after school and out in society with no limits to what I could possibly do with my time.
